More retailers are opening their doors early for Black Friday.

Monday, Target announced its earliest opening ever for the shopping holiday.

Stores will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving day. The retailer says the sales will take place in both stores and online from Thursday November 27th to Saturday November 29th.

The big box store joins a number of retailers who are trying to jump out in front by opening on Thanksgiving. J.C. Penney, Sears, Kohl’s, Kmart and Toys ‘R’ Us will all open on Thanksgiving day.
