Friday is dry sunny and mild. Temperatures climb into the upper 60s and low 70s this afternoon. Mostly sunny skies early with clouds building in during the evening. Showers develop west after 9PM and move east through the night.

Showers and rumbles of thunder possible through midday Saturday. Late afternoon looks much drier and warmer with partial clearing. Winds will gust to 35MPH at times throughout the day. A summer feel this weekend with temperatures well above normal (66)! Upper 70s / lower 80s.

There is a slight chance of showers/thunder Sunday, otherwise much warmer with temps topping 80!

Next week features a brief drop in temperatures with the passage of another front Tuesday.

Big temperature changes this time of year are a VERY common occurrence in the southern Great Lakes. So going from 30s to 50s/60s for example is nothing new. In fact, Scott looked back on each daytime temperature since 1970 and checked what month had the greatest day-to-day changes. MARCH AND APRIL are at the top of the list!
