DONALSONVILLE, Ga. — Authorities confirm a man wanted in connection with the murders of Doyle and Lillian Chumney is also a suspect in a violent robbery that happened in Donalsonville, Ga., Sunday night.

Robert Clark, 29, is wanted in Ohio for the murders of the Chumneys, who were found inside their burned car in Bakersville after their family reported them missing from their Strasburg home.

Clark is also wanted in a robbery that happened Saturday in West Virginia.

An officer with Donalsonville Police said the robbery in Donalsonville happened at a Sunoco at 9:46 p.m. Sunday.

A woman came into the station first, and then left without buying anything. About 15 seconds later, two men — one believed to be Clark — came in and robbed the business.

They ordered the clerk to the floor at gunpoint and stole about $8,000 in cash and merchandise.

They are driving a green van. Police in Georgia say they are working with Ohio authorities.

Donalsonville is near the Florida and Alabama state lines.

Jeffery Craig Stewart, 21, has already been arrested in the murders.
