CLEVELAND –  It’s going to be a busy, fun Fourth of July weekend here in northeast Ohio. If you’re looking for some family fun, we’ve got a list for you right here as you make your plans. Have a great weekend and stay safe!

Events:

FACTORY OF FROZEN FUN Lake Metroparks Farmpark – opens on the Fourth of July, through August 30th.  Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

COST OF FREEDOM TRIBUTETwinsburg High School – Noon July 2nd- 3 p.m. July 5th. 360 foot traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall, Vietnam Village, Korean War tribute, military vehicles, Free event.

CHAGRIN VALLEY HUNTER JUMPER CLASSIC – July 2nd – July 12th, Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field, Moreland Hills, opens daily at 8 a.m.

CEDAR POINT’S LIGHT UP THE POINT 10:30 p.m. July 4th, Cedar Point presents one of the largest fireworks displays in the Midwest. All active, retired & honorably discharged members of our Armed Forces will receive free admission to Cedar Point, Friday through Sunday, July 3rd-5th.

AKRON RUBBERDUCKS “FOURTH ON THE FIELD” – July 4th.  A showing of “Shrek” before the City of Akron fireworks show. Canal Park gates open at 6:30 p.m.; “Shrek” begins at 7:55 p.m.; City of Akron fireworks at 9:45 p.m.

RTA FAMILY FEST – July 4th, 7 p.m. at the Settlers Landing Station on the Waterfront Line, and continues until the firework spectacular ends. Family fest will feature items from the former Euclid Beach amusement park,  music, refreshments sold on site.

BEREA’S GRINDSTONE FESTIVAL – July 2nd -4th,  4 p.m.-11p.m. each day, Coe Lake, Berea

BROOK PARK HOME DAYS – July 9th – 12th, in and around the Brook Park Recreation Center parking lot and complex.

BRUNSWICK SUMMER CELEBRATION: BANDS, BITES & BOOMS – June 30th – July 5th, Brunswick High School

20TH ANNUAL KENT HERITAGE FESTIVAL – July 4th, 9 a.m. – 11 p.m., downtown Kent

NEW PHILADELPHIA FIRST TOWN DAYS – July 2nd – 5th, Tuscora Park
